We had a great time at the TMAC Agility Club’s trial this weekend. The club did a great job and everything ran smoothly in spite of mother nature’s best efforts to put a damper on things with frigid cold yesterday and yet more snow overnight! Thankfully once the sun came out today it warmed up and we are having a mini “heatwave” with the temperature near 40!! Who would ever think that could feel so balmy??
My crew all came home from the weekend with new titles and beautiful ribbons to commemorate their accomplishments! On Saturday, Cocoa finished her Masters Silver Jumpers title, not to be outdone Robbie finished his MACH4!!!! Then today, Bitti decided she needed one of their beautiful ribbons and she finished her Masters Gold Jumpers title!!

COCOA……
Cocoa’s first agility trial was on February 17, 2012. She showed in JWW one weekend in February, one weekend in March and another in June. By her 4tht trial on August 11, 2012 she ran in Standard for the first time, earing her first NA leg the same day she earned her first AXJ leg!! In VERY LIMITED trialing, just one year from the first time she was entered in Standard, she now has both her MX & MXJ ……AND 6 DOUBLE Q’s toward her MACH!!!!!!!

On April 21, 2013 at the Scottish Terrier Club of New England agility Trial held in Hamden, CT Cocoa competed her MX title. So she now has her MX MXJ!!

COCOA PT!
Cocoa earned her PT title yesterday at the herding trials held at Nutmeg Farm here in Portland CT!! I am so very proud of this little half pint, she not only got her geese around the course and penned in a very controlled manner, she surprised me by doing it in the shortest time of any dog entered in her class!!

“I’m a big girl now”…….
Cocoa is growing up, so it is time to prove that she has been learning some basic obedience skills and knows how to behave appropriately in public. Today, she took and passed her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Test with flying colors. You can learn more about the CGC test on the AKC website, here. She is now officially Wyndridge Ghirardelli, CGC!

Happy Birthday Cocoa!
It’s hard to believe a year has gone by already, Cocoa and her litter mates, our “dark chocolate” litter, are a year old today!! Happy Birthday to all of you! Cocoa is still a little “beastie”…..she probably always will be 
But, she is growing up into quite a lovely young lady.
