We had a great time at the TMAC Agility Club’s trial this weekend. The club did a great job and everything ran smoothly in spite of mother nature’s best efforts to put a damper on things with frigid cold yesterday and yet more snow overnight! Thankfully once the sun came out today it warmed up and we are having a mini “heatwave” with the temperature near 40!! Who would ever think that could feel so balmy??
My crew all came home from the weekend with new titles and beautiful ribbons to commemorate their accomplishments! On Saturday, Cocoa finished her Masters Silver Jumpers title, not to be outdone Robbie finished his MACH4!!!! Then today, Bitti decided she needed one of their beautiful ribbons and she finished her Masters Gold Jumpers title!!
On Friday August 23, 2013 at the TSSC agility trial held in Hamden, CT Bitti earned a double Q under judges David Hirsch and Susan Barnett, this DQ gave her the final points that she needed to complete her MACH!!! She is officially a DOUBLE CHAMPION!!
A Perfect agility day!
Bitti Double Q’d today, earning her 2nd QQ toward her MACH!! Not to be outdone by his little sister Robbie Triple Q’d!!! This was his 2nd triple Q , it was also his 2nd QQ toward his MACH 2!!
Now XXX rated!
For this weekend’s trial we were back up in New Hampshire at American K9 for a trial held by the Agility Club of New Hampshire. The dogs put in some nice runs. Bitti is coming along nicely, she is really consistent on course! Robbie had a really nice run in JWW and won the 16″ Excellent B JWW class on Sunday. He also won the FAST Excellent A class, that gave him the third leg need for his Excellent Fast title. So he is now “triple X rated”<ggg> because he has his MX MXJ and now XF titles!
Christmas came early this year…..
We went to the Agility Club of New Hampshire’s trial this weekend. On Saturday, Bitti Q’d in Excellent B JWW and Robbie Double Q’d earning his 17th DQ!
Then on Sunday, Robbie had a repeat performance earning his 18th DQ! Bitti also Double Q’d- this is her first DQ…..so she is now officially on the way too!
Sitting on 18 DQ’s and nearly 1000 MACH points, Robbie and I are finally within striking distance of his MACH, I can hardly wait for our next trial!
In the homestretch now…..
This weekend we went south and found the weather even colder than what we left behind! We attended an agility trial held at Gloucester County Dream Park, in southern New Jersey. Robbie picked up 48 points and Double Q #16 toward his MACH. We are officially in the “homestretch” now…..just 4 left to go for his Championship!
Not to be outdone by her big brother, little Miss Bitti earned the last leg needed for her Excellent Jumpers with Weaves title too! So she is now in both B classes, working on her Masters titles and her MACH too!
This winter should be very exciting for us at the trials!!
Another fun weekend with the “fur -kids”!
We packed up and headed to New Hampshire this weekend for the Middlesex County KC agility trial. Both Bitti and Robbie Q’d in 3 out of their 4 runs, making the trip well worthwhile!
Bitti Q’d in Exc B Standard and Exc A Jumpers on Saturday. She has officially earned her first MACH points!!!! She followed up on Sunday earning her second MX leg !! She came home with 33MACH points for the weekend! I can’t wait till we finish the Exc A JWW title, then she can start collecting Double Q’s too!
Robbie, Q’d in Standard on Saturday, and Double Q’d on Sunday with a Fourth place in Standard and a Second placement in JWW. He earned 60MACH points and his 15th Double Q this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A new title!
We went to the Granite State Shetland Sheepdog Club’s agility trial this weekend. This was Bitti’s first time back after several months off for a breeding that unfortunately resulted in no puppies. She had a really good weekend, on Saturday she Q’d in Excellent Standard and won the class! On Sunday, she Q’d in Excellent Jumpers earning 1st place, she also Q’d in Standard on Sunday. This Q earned a 2nd placement and completed her Excellent Standard title. So she has a brand new AX title after her name now!
