Wyndridge is a small, home-based “hobby kennel” of Shetland Sheepdogs located in Southern Connecticut. Shelties have been a part of our lives since 1995. We intentionally keep a small number of dogs, so there is time for everyone to get plenty of individual training and attention. Our dogs first and foremost are beloved members of our family; they are show dogs second. Since most of our time is spent training and competing with the dogs in the performance venues we not only select for dogs who meet the Breed Standard in respect to type and conformation, but, those who are also good working dogs in respect to drive and trainability. We do occasionally have puppies available. Any breeding is done with the Breed’s Standard in mind, healthy Shelties with soundness of mind and body are what we strive for when planning a breeding. Our goal is to produce confident and stable puppies whether they will go on to be competition dogs or family pets. To learn more about our sheltie puppies click here. I am member of the American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA), and an active member of several Connecticut-based dog clubs, including the Tri-State Shetland Sheepdog Club, where I currently serve as a board member. In the performance areas, I belong to Criterion Agility and the Obedience Dog Training Club of Waterbury. This web site was created to share our Shetland Sheepdogs and their accomplishments with you. We hope you enjoy your visit.
