I have been blessed to have Stormy as my Novice A partner in both obedience and agility. He has been very forgiving of all of the mistakes I have made as a novice handler, and blossomed in spite of them. He is extremely intelligent, willing, honest, confident and FULL of drive!
In addition to completing his AKC Companion Dog title (CD) and AKC Companion Dog Excellent title (CDX) with all first placements, Stormy completed his ASCA CD with all First Placements and 3 High in Trial awards!!!
Stormy was the #1 Novice A Sheltie for 2003!!!! He was also the Fourth place Ranked Novice A dog in the Herding Group Nationwide!
In 2006, Stormy was the Top Ranked Sheltie, in Open A!! He was also the Fourth place Ranked Open A dog in the Herding Group Nationwide!
For the year of 2007, Stormy placed Fourth in the Top 10 Dogs All Breeds Nationwide, In the Front and Finish Rankings for Utility A!!!!
AKC statistics show that 1 in 10,000 Novice A dogs will complete an Obedience Trial Championship (OTCh), on average only 8 shelties complete this prestigious title in any given year.
